Donations were collected in lieu of gifts for Ambassador Mei Herbert's 80th Birthday. These donations went to the Immanual Chinese Alliance Church to help with their Chinese Teaching Program. Several generous donations were collected. All donations were much appreciated.
We were delighted and honored to have Director General Joseph Ma, from the Taipei Economic Cultural Office, visit from San Francisco. He and members of his office came the day before the party. Director General Ma has been a good friend and big support to Ambassador Mei Herbert and to this organization.
He came bearing gifts.
